Goals
Delaware County was the only county in the Philadelphia region with no health department and the most populated county in Pennsylvania without one. This finally changed when Delco opened its door to its first health department. At Mendoza, we are proud to have been part of this huge milestone as the leading agency developing its new identity and first awareness campaign to promote the existence of the health department and deepen the public’s understanding of what the Delaware County Health Department does.
Tactics
- Developing a modern, bold, and friendly brand identity that would differentiate Delco’s health department from the old, traditional, and cold health systems.
- Producing a minimalistic and modern launch campaign focused on the key social determinants relevant to our target audience.
- Deployed a PR strategy that secured 42 placements in key digital and traditional local publishers.
